If you are a commercial building owner, by law you are required to have an asbestos register prepared and kept in the workplace. Regardless whether asbestos is assumed to be present or not, a register is required. The asbestos audit must be kept up to date, be easily accessible to others in the workplace, and if asbestos is present, a re-audit will need to take place every five years.
If your property was built before 1987, it will most likely contain asbestos. A sample and test from us will make sure if asbestos is present or not.
If the asbestos measures less than 10 metres, you can do it yourself although we do not recommend it. A licensed asbestos removalist will make sure the job is done carefully and efficiently.
